Vintage Diehl 1950s Blue 16 Blade Caged Desk Table Fan REWIRED NO Oscillating. When I got this all the wires had deteriorated and would surely arch if plugged in. I opened it up and replaced all the wires inside with better newer stuff as well as soldered joints with heatshrink and even added a ground for safety. Unfortunately, It’s missing an arm or something and the oscillation action doesn’t work. The fan itself WORKS GREAT now. Really gotta watch your fingers when using the switch. I guess they were less concerned with finger safety back then since they made the holes in the cage so big. Some scratches and chips in the paint here and there. Also, I had to cut one of the three screws that hold the bottom plate on. Two hold it on just fine.
