This listing is for an antique Menominee “Clamshell” fan. I think this fan was made in either 1917 or 1918, so it’s for sure over 100 years old. It has original paint, and is really unique because of its round motor. The blades have an 8 diameter. It does work, but it rattles. It is also missing the cage. It is a one speed fan, and to turn it on, you just plug it in, because it came from the factory without a switch. It has a new cord, but the fan is 100+ years old, so I can’t guarantee it is perfectly safe. Over all, this is a really cool antique piece, and would look great in any setting.
