


Antique General Electric Type AH, Form V2 alternating-current ceiling fan motor, catalog number 44986. This heavy cast-iron motor dates to approximately the early 1920s and was originally used in a four-blade ceiling fan. The motor has not been electrically tested due to its age and the severely deteriorated cloth-covered wiring. Includes the GE motor, hanging stem, canopy and one original ornate blade iron shown in the photos. The wooden blades and remaining three blade irons are missing. No additional mounting hardware or parts are included. The motor and included components show substantial wear from age and previous use, including rust, corrosion, scratches, finish loss, dirt, dust and discoloration. The identification plate remains attached and is marked Type AH, Form V2 and catalog number 44986. Includes only the items shown in the photos.
