Fresh from an estate is an antique electric fan manufactured by the Alliance Manufacturing Company of Alliance, OH in the 1930s/40s. The model number is 100. The fan’s motor housing mimics a vintage microphone. The fan is all original and in as-found condition. The cord has been cut but, when tested, the fan worked. The fan is in very good vintage cosmetic condition and exhibits age appropriate wear, including some paint loss here and there and some old paint splatters. The original green paint is well preserved and should clean/polish up nicely. The cord has been cut and will need to be replaced. In addition to operating on a desk or table (flat surface), the fan was also designed for wall mount operation. It can be mounted to a wall or vertical surface via screw holes in the base. The fan head adjusted appropriately, and you have a wall-mounted fan…. Perfect for man caves, workshops, great rooms, etc. When tested, the fan worked — the fan was designed as a “plug-and-play, ” and manufactured without an on/off switch. Please note a new cord is needed. The blades measure 8 in diameter. The fan’s width is 8.5″ and it stands 11″ tall. Rest assured the fan will be expertly packed. Everything will be securely wrapped with 2-3 layers of bubble-wrap, double-boxed, and very securely packed.
