Fresh from an estate is a terrific vintage brass blade fan from the early 1920s manufactured by the Emerson Electric Company in St. Louis, MO 100 years ago! The fan’s model number is 28646. The fan is in excellent vintage condition, especially given it’s 100 years young. The fan features 12 diameter brass blades (painted gold), cast iron base and motor housing, and steel cage and struts. The paint is in excellent vintage condition with age appropriate scuffs, scratches, and wear. The fan has a newer rubber cord. The fan was simply wiped clean, a couple drops of oil added to the oil port. Suffice to say, the fan is ready for many more decades of dependable service! The fan is a three speed model and runs smoothly on three distinct speeds. The blades are solid brass and measure 12 in diameter. The fan’s height is 16.5″, width is 14″, and is 9.5 deep. The build quality of the fan is impressive — it’s heavy! — and represents a bygone era of American manufacturing. This is an absolutely gorgeous vintage fan. That is ready for immediate use and a guaranteed conversation starter — and helps beat the heat of summer!
