I have had it for years and always planned on polishing it up and restoring it, but I haven’t done anything to it, as it works perfectly. This is an 8 inch Westinghouse desk fan. This size does not come up often especially in this configuration. It has brass fan blades and blade protectors and the motor housing and stand appear to be some type of bronze or brass. It is not cast iron like many other fans of this era. At some point in my past research I found that this fan was made prior to 1910, but I couldn’t find the information again recently. Please let me know if you have any other questions. Again, I wish I didn’t have to sell it and that I could keep it.
