Vintage Robbins & Myers RESTORED Model 11018 3 Speed Oscillating 15″ Desk Fan 15″ refers to the width/diameter of the blades. The fan itself stands appr. 22 tall with the cage. All the measurements are in the photos When I got this the oscillation screw was missing, the switch was didn’t work, The felt on the bottom was gone, paint was damaged on just about every surface and the cords had gone hard and brittle. I repainted all the metal parts, replaced the switch, replaced both the cloth cords (the black one has four wires and was hard to find, the new ones is more robust), all the strain relief plastic bits for the cords. Also, inside I fixed all the wiring and did it correctly with solder and heat shrink tubing rather than home twist nut thingys. My paint was not perfect and I marred/scratched it here and there in the reassembly process, I greased the moving bits and it works like a dream. The cage is still a bit bent here and there is one wire that popped free from its weld, SEE PHOTOS and VIDEO. Please study High Definition Zoomable photos.
