The fan blades, cage, motor and base are all in great shape. It has a tiny hole just above the spindle on both the front and back of the fan. If it ever slows down put 2 drops of oil in each and it will take off. It was just oiled. This can be screwed/nailed or bolted in place. If using on a smooth desk top you may want to put it on a cloth or mouse pad to keep it in place. There is wing nut on the neck to tilt up or down. Please adjust when the fan is not in operation. The cord is in great condition. Plugged in is on and unplugged is off. You could have a switch added to the cord if desired. Please do not operate around children or near pets.
