Vintage General Electric 12 inch brass blade fan restored. I bought the fan about six months ago and it seems maybe fifteen twenty years ago. The fan was completely restored. I guess I did a light and freshen up and a life restoration. The gearbox was repacked with new grease The power cord was replaced. The brass blade was repolished. Some light touch up paint was used in some areas. All the brass nuts and bolts were taken out and thoroughly polished. New wicks were put in the oil cups finally, a clear varnish was applied for nice shiny clean appearance. The fan runs great on all 3 speeds and oscillates. The way it should. It’s good for another hundred years.
