Original condition, as found dusty and dirty. I rigged a test cord to try it and it operates properly. Will need a new cord. Original cord included with an in line on/off switch, I don’t know if that was original.

Antique Emerson Northwind Type 450 Oscillating Desk Fan 1917 Tested Works. Has been restored and rewired. Sometimes on low speed the blade scrapes cage. Most likely just need to tighten set screw. 2 areas of cage have wire where weld popped. Nice strong blowing fan.
Both sides of the blades do have missing paint w/the silver showing. The fan is really nice and clean. The speed lever really only works properly on the high speed. It is quiet running. Basically, just displays w/normal wear and tear. From years of use.
