Antique GE Electric Fan Brass Blades Base Housing Pat 1895 1901 1903.. We have never seen a fan like this. We think it’s an excellent candidate for full restoration. That’s brass and it’s a real fine base. I’ve not seen a base such clean line. It’s usually kind of thicker This came from a local estate. I do not know the full history but it does work. (I don’t know which way the controls go) This was partially disassembled when we found it so I’ve taken pictures both ways. The blades are aprox 8 It goes through one through three speeds. But it has a problem. There’s a little wheel that connects to it and to an arm to make it go back and forth. You can see in the picture I removed the wheel but it is broken. I believe these are somewhat available. Please do your own due diligence on that. It does have scratches, scuffs, some dings, dents but overall. It’s a beautiful fan. I’m sure a good polishing and cleaning would really brighten it up We’ll leave that up to the new owner. Some people like the plethora the cord does not look bad but it does appear to be original so you might want to change it but I’m not sure. I do not see where a front cover basket would be connected so maybe this one didn’t have one I don’t know. This is all the information we have. We’re very communicative.
