Rare Antique Electric Fan
This is an unusual electric fan from my own collection that I have enjoyed. It is a 3 speed oscillating “Fitzgerald” fan circa 1938 and very modernistic for it’s time. The motor is mounted to the fan body in a very unusual manner and can be adjusted up or down. The fan was bead blasted, primed, painted, with a new head wire and power supply cord installed. All gears and bearing checked and oiled/greased with recommended lubricants. The plug is a vintage plug and appropriate for the fan. Chrome cage and motor mount. The fan is 14 1/2″ tall, 11″ wide, and 10 depth. It runs and oscillates as it should. There is a small nick in the paint (see photo) after I took it to a fan meet to show. The item “Rare Antique Electric Fan” is in sale since Monday, November 16, 2015. This item is in the category “Collectibles\Kitchen & Home\Electric Fans”.
