Vintage General Electric Vortalex Metal Cage Oscillating, Desk Fan. Dark, Army Green base, felt still in tack with brassy gold tone blades. Vintage, Early 1940s Era General Electric, 3 Blade’s, 2 Speed, Oscallating & Tilting Desk Fan.. Hasn’t been modified in any way. It has been tested and is in working condition! 2 issues with the fan… 1 seems to be a minor problem with the oscillating element. 2nd is a small tear on the bottom Felt. The fan will start slowly turning whenever you turn it on but I think it may be catching up on something.. I’m not exactly sure what the issue is, but it will probably be a minor repair needed but not necessary as the fan works perfectly and it will cool you off! As you can see in the photos, it’s an absolutely beautiful & Rare GE appliance & It’s a great piece to show off and display and you can actually use it!!!!! This Fan is definitely a statement piece & one to be proud to own. I have not tried to repair it as I’m not an expert in this field… Hoping to find a perfect new home for it!
