For your consideration is this large antique industrial electric table fan. It would appear to be a version of the Air Castle Propeller Fan with a 3 speed General Electric motor. It measures about 28 1/2 tall overall as shown. The aircraft propeller style blade is 20″ long and the chrome and cast iron base measures about 12″ in diameter. This one runs fine on all 3 speeds and in fact has a really cool prop plane kind of sound. The outer cage has a couple of areas that are slightly less than perfectly round. But only slightly and I think it wouldn’t take a whole lot to remedy that. The chrome on the base shows wear and surface rust. The cord, which needs replaced, should, and will, exit from underneath the cast iron base when the 3 screw in feet are replaced. Again, not a big deal. All in all, a pretty well preserved example of a great old table fan. Please study the photos and ask any questions you may have.
