This is an amazing old world quality German made fan. The fan is driven by a sterling cycle or hot-air engine. The fan is powered by a kerosene burner. It seems to be all there. I made no attempt to clean this up. Some people want the old stuff to look old and others may restore to look like new. I left it dirty. I did add a little oil. Even as a static display it is an impressive display. In operation they are something of an engineering marvel. You can find some videos on you tube. I also noted some soldering on the brass cage. The cage is solid wire and is very heavy. I seems like hollow stock or lighter wire would make more sense. Either over engineered or a replacement. The whole fan is quite heavy. I do not know if it runs. I dont see anything obviously wrong or broken. It does look old. It is heavy and some what delicate for the weight involved. Take your time, ask questions and think. Any concerns please ask. I can give you more pics of any details. I may sell international, but; contact me first so we can discuss costs and packing.
