Fresh from an estate is a nice early motor manufactured by the Fidelity Electric Company of Lancaster, PA. The motor dates to the first quarter of the 20th century and is numbered 36154. The motor housing and base are made of cast iron — very heavy! The motor is in good original cosmetic condition (it is dirty and needs a good cleaning) especially considering it’s over 100 years old, and retains much of its black paint, with gold pinstripping still faintly visible. The wiring appears original and is fragile. The grinder on one end of the motor is incomplete (piece broke off). Please see the many pictures for a visual inspection of the motor. The motor works and speed can be adjusted from slow (S) to fast (F). The motor is 7.5″ high and 11.5″ long. Rest assured the motor will be expertly packed. It will be securely wrapped with 2-3 layers of bubble-wrap, double-boxed, and very securely packed. Please see my feedback to learn how much clients appreciate the time and care I take in packing their items.
