This is, with no doubt, the rarest electric fan i have seen. Probably the most emblematic spatial age fan ever made (looks like something out of the cartoons ¨The Jetsons¨). It has an amazing futuristic look with the shape of a robot, and a psychedelic design with interactive metal pink blades (original pink paint) to generate a 360 degrees breeze. According to my research, this fan is one of a kind, and has inspired more modern and smaller fan, all of them desk fans, as the Fargo Fanimation fan. However, these models are similar, but they are far to have this size, and this fantastic and sophisticated look. Made during 60/70s and consistent with this age, this floor fan combines materials as metal, plastic and wood. Its body has been made in agglomerated wood with the shape of a perfect obelisk with even a faceted plastic roof. Legs have been made in solid wood. Top of cage and switch have been made in plastic and cage and blades have been made in metal. It has a typical switch from 60/70 s to select three speeds and a red button to release them and turn it off. The central propeller has four blades, and each blade has a internal division of three blades with the shape of a shock wave to power the wind (a great combination of a technical and aesthetic purpose). The top and down blades guide the air to the central propeller, so the central propeller can produce a surrounding breeze. Pretty bizarre and outlandish, i consider it more as a work of design with the spirit and fashion from the spacial age than an electric fan. This extremely unusual piece is unbranded, that it makes it a more curious device. According style, it seems to be Scandinavian, French or Italian. It is in perfect working order and it has been oiled an cleaned, but nothing has been modified, replaced or restored, so it preserves its original vintage condition and all its original parts (even cord is original). It has been incredibly well preserved, so it is in excellent condition considering its age, with slights signals of use. If you are a fan collector, this will be one of the main pieces of you collection and an excellent topic of conversation. Height is 53 inches. A really exceptional fan for demanding collectors.
