I love these antique GE fans with their original paint job. It has all the hallmarks, and the original brass GE plates on the front and back. This is a very powerful working fan – see pictures and video and please feel free to ask any questions. I believe this oscillates with a combo of turning the brass screws under the blades and the one in the back under the motor. For someone that knows these fans well, can someone tell me which combo of screw tightening needs to occur to make it oscillate? I have had this fan for over 20 years and it has lived in my attic for the past 19. Cat # 34017, Spec # 272616-1, Model No – GE V191372. This is a very powerful fan and works well on all three speeds. Original bakelite switch slides well between off low med high. Original brass plate with all specs in in good condition. Working with original wiring – personally I would rewire this piece which is very easy job. Simply unscrew the bottom plate and connect the white, black, and ground wires, cap and screw together, and put some electrical tape over the caps.
