This offering is for an original antique Emerson Type 29646 Three Speed Oscillating Electric Fan in untouched original condition. The fan is in excellent working condition running smoothly on all three speeds with a distinct difference between each speed and turning off when set to off. The oscillator mechanism also operates perfectly and smoothly. There does not appear to be any wobble or vibration when running and in short it runs great. The tag on top states in part EMERSON THE EMERSON ELECTRIC MFG CO NEW YORK ST LOUIS VOLTS 110 TYPE 29646 CYCLES 60 No. The fan has four brass blades which appear to be Parker blades but I do not see any Parker markings on them with an iron cage. The fan is also marked “EMERSON REG US PAT OFF” on the brass tag on the cage. The fan measures app. 17.5 in height to the top of the cage, the cage itself measures app. 12.5 in diameter, the blades measure app. The brass has not been cleaned or polished in years and we will leave the decision to do so or not to the new owner. The cord was replaced at some point and is showing wear again and the cloth covering on the head wire is frayed so it needs some attention if you plan on running it. The black painted finish has wear and loss around the base edge otherwise it’s very very nice with only minor wear. If additional photo’s are needed or you have need of answers to questions we do not address we will be happy to supply them. WE USUALLY SEND OUR INVOICE WITHIN 1 HOUR OF THE AUCTIONS ENDING.
