The fan blades & cage are made of brass. I plugged the fan in and it worked on all 3 speeds. The oscillating part of the fan could not be tested because the oscillating mechanism/collar that the oscillating arm connects to is broken and needs repaired. There is some sort of adjustment screw that is slightly bent that is located below the motor and at the top of the base. (Im pointing at it below in the pictures). There is a signature on the Parker Fan Blade that reads… Not sure if the spring shown in the pictures goes to this fan or not but when I picked up the fan, this spring was found on the floor by it so I will be sending it along with the fan just in case it goes to it. Not sure if the power cords are original or not but they do have some age on them and show wear & cracks. The white mark you see on one of the fan blades looks like white paint to me. Not too bad of a fan considering the issues that need fixed are easier fixes and after a nice cleaning & polishing then you will have a very nice fan to enjoy!
