Antique early century GE 6 brass plated blades (12) fan. Please see my other auctions for more great vintage fans including a rare DEBONAIR with octagon cage. If you live east of the Mississippi, it will cost less. Another oldie found here in New England. I didn’t dare plug this one in looking at the age and condition of the wiring. Appears to be complete. Ready for your restoration. Blades are 12 across. Approximate total height is 17 inches. Blades appear to be plated with brass as a magnet will still stick to them. NOTE that the cage is attached incorrectly so that the GE logo isn’t right side up. Also there is one intentionally bent rear section of the cage that is supposed to be at the bottom so you are able to tilt the fan downward (bend gives clearance with the base). Please study all the photos below. I’ll show you all around the fan…. Here is the GE logo as it is supposed to be orientated. And the cage as it is supposed to be when attached correctly. The intentionally bent section is supposed to be at 6 o’clock. A look at both sides. And the other side. A look at the base. It appears to be all here. Showing the back and the motor assembly. C’mon you know you want it! Condition is GD as found. Wear and tear which testifies to its age and vintage. Please examine photos and ask any questions.
