GE marketed this fan under the “quiet blade” brand beginning in the late 1930s, as it introduced a new and innovative overlapping blade design. The fan features a shiny polished blade and black motor/base, creating a striking and impressive look. The fan is ready to be displayed and used and is a guaranteed conversation starter! According to the motor tag, the CAT # is 49X491, Form AS 1, and Number is V 127698. The fan features 12 diameter blades, chromed accents (screws, oiler, and oscillating screw), and black paint. The build quality of the fan is incredible and harkens back to a time where U. Was a world leader in manufacturing. The fan is in excellent original cosmetic condition and retains much of its original black paint, with some paint loss throughout.
