Here we have a beautifully restored GE brass blade brass cage fan. Better known to fan collectors as a small motor yoke fan. Brass blades measure a total span of 12″ across tip to tip and it stands approx 17″ tall from the bottom of the base to the top of the cage. Head can be tipped up or down to aim air flow. This fan has had the works top to bottom. It was Completely disassembled and bead blasted to the bare metal see pics. As for the electrical components the following was done. He motor windings were removed and a “new” period repro. Old style head wire was installed and the windings were then reinsullated with industrial grade motor winding varnish. It too was also reinsulated with the motor winding varnish as well. All brass components were polished to a high luster and then clear coated to maintain it’s shine and prevent premature reoxidation. After bead blasting all metal parts then had a high quality automotive red oxide primer applied followed by several coats of high grade diamond black automotive paint which is very durable and can be just wiped clean with a soft cloth. Check out that deep glass like finish. Motor info tag and speed tag were repainted, polished and clear coated. New oil wicks installed in front and rear oilers. New old style tan twisted power cord and new old style plug. New rubber base feet to keep from marring any surface it sets on. Last but not least a new reproduction operating instruction label on the bottom of the base plate. I think I have covered it all. Like out of the crate new. Beware of a lot of so called amateur restorations out there that just consist of a quick wipe down with a rag and call it restored. Don’t confuse one of those fans with this one. I’m a proud member of the American fan collectors association an have restored these fans for over 20+ years with tons of satisfied customers. A lot of time and expense was spent on this restoration to achieve the results you see before you. Indoor low light pictures don’t do this fan justice you have to see it in person. It’s one gleaming beauty with all that brass and black. Any marks are just reflections off the glass like finish there are no cracks, lines. Runs nice and quiet on all 3 speeds. Sure to be the proud center piece in any room of your house, office or den. This will be well packed with blades and cage removed and put in their own separate box to avoid any damage. Thanks and good luck! Note: Added some OUTDOOR PICTURES to capture the real beauty of this fan. Couple snow specks did manage to sneak in there on the base but hey this is NY.
