Antique GE General Electric Fan Model #55X162
Ultra rare GE radial ceiling fan model #55X162. Early 1930’s production. Sibling to the equally rare 1933-34 World’s Fair fan model #55X161, that differs by blade angle. I tested this fan and it ran beautifully. The original cord has been cut and spliced. Condition is excellent, aside from 80+ years of grime and ceiling paint buildup. There’s virtually no damage. Both front and rear GE badges are excellent. I did a quick water and paper towel job on the front badge, no abrasives! All fasteners are present and appear unturned. The blade spider arms are clearly stamped “A”, signifying blade configuration. Cage diameter is approximately 13.5″, overall depth about 9.5″, and weight 11.5 lbs. I will gladly respond to all inquiries. The item “Antique GE General Electric Fan Model #55X162″ is in sale since Friday, November 06, 2015.
