1940’s 8 Original Jack Frost Stationary Desk Fan. Circa 1940 8 Jack Frost desk fan by Knapp Monarch. This fan is all original and has a cool deco look so reminiscent of 40’s! The great design features a brown textured high-quality cast iron base, a streamlined chrome bullet shaped motor cover, chrome blade and cage, beautifully placed chrome trim accents, and unique vertical tag with stylish vintage font. It has been cleaned and serviced. The power cord has been upgraded to our superior domestically produced OTR+W cloth covered wire. The motor is a shaded pole type motor and runs warm – the experts in the fan community say that is attributed to that type of motor.
