It wouldn’t take much to polish up the blades if you wanted shiny blades. I’m not sure why the screen was added to the bottom section. I can remove it if you want. Looking at my pictures you will see I enlarged them many times so you see every little rust spot. It’s actually not very noticable. Many places the Black Paint is Missing and you just see the steel below. The Blades measure 16 1/8 inches across and 19 5/8 inches high. Also notice Each Brass Blade has Three Brass Rivets holding them on a Brass Six Branch Piece that attaches to the motor. I think it’s a good bet this was an industrial fan. It’s a work horse.
