Thank you for viewing our Store, Please read full description. We have for sale an Antique 1919 Westinghouse 12 Brass Blade Fan. A wonderful classic piece of history this 1919 Westinghouse 12 osculating table fan with beautiful brass fan blades. This is as found and untouched we have added oil to the front oiler and checked the grease in the rear gears, it appears the main electrical cord was replaced sometime in the 1950 or 60s. Operations The fan appears all original and untouched. It has a 3-speed switch which turns the fan on and off. The fan motor needs a little blade spin to get started and the switch does not change speeds most likely needs cleaned inside. It osculates very smoothly, the electrical cord in good condition and the cord which runs from base to motor has worn casing at base but solid. There is a screw on the blade guard that has been replaced at some point as shown in pictures all others are original. The grease in gearbox was fluid and the oiler was not dry. Fan runs strong and smooth. With a little love it will last another 100 years. Circa, 1919 Marked, Westinghouse, Style #164848G, Patented 3/28/1919.
