1915 – 1917 GE 2 Speed 9 Brass Blade Fan. Restored by AFCA member. It runs smooth and quiet in both speeds. Steel Cage Older style. New period style head wire and power cord. Cleaned/oiled motor and bearings. New Wick and oil. Brass blade polished only. It has two holes in motor case reason unknown. My best research on this fan shows not rear cap on motor. There isn’t a groove for one. This little 2 speed fan was only made for two years for home use. The blades are polished brass. The cage is steel in the older wrap style. It is in gloss black. The next 9 fan by GE was the one speed WHIZ. MUST HAVE A U. PLEASE view pictures as they are a part of the description…. I can not be responsible for the design safety of these fans, especially guarding, which is inherent in their early designs.
