Antique 1901 General Electric GE 12 3 Speed Fan with Brass Blades & Cage. Up for sale is this very nice antique General Electric 3 speed fan with brass blades and cage. As you can see, the fan looks great and runs perfectly! The cord though not new, appears to be a more recent replacement than the original and is good shape. The serial number of this fan is 341782 which I believe indicates this fan was produced in 1901. The brass fan and cage are 12 in diameter. The black finish is original as far as I can tell. I have included a lot of photographs which really help to show the condition. I have tested the fan and all three speeds work perfectly and the blades rotate smoothly like they should be. This is one powerful fan and is quite heavy for its size weighing over 24 pounds! If you collect antique fans, this would make a fantastic addition!
