The model/type number on this amazing looking fan is 27645 & I believe it was produced around 1919 or early 1920’s era. This fan is pretty clean all the way around. The “original” black paint on the metal base & on the motor is in great condition that shines extremely well. There are a few wear spots on the base & motor but nothing that detracts from the beauty of this fan. I have taken many pictures so you may get a good view at this stunning looking & working fan. The fan blade was made by Parker. The brass on the 9 blade is in fantastic condition that shines very nicely & there is no rust or pitting & the blades are perfectly straight. The black metal cage around the fan blade is in great condition with just a tad bit of wear on the paint & the metal badge on the face of the fan cage is in fantastic condition. You never want to carry a fan by the cage alone, this is a NO NO. The 3-speed slide control switch on the base is in good working condition. The 7ft electric cord is in excellent condition that can be safely plugged in. There is a piece of felt on the bottom & it is in good condition but it has some wear. This Emerson fan has 3-speeds & it works great whether it’s on high, medium or low speed. There is just a slight difference in speed from the first speed to the second speed & then the 3rd speed it flies away. This fan blows a lot of air that runs quietly with really no vibration to speak of. The fan oscillates back & forth nicely. You can also pivot/position this oscillating fan to blow straight ahead or up or on a down word direction. This is an extremely nice looking & working fan that would make an excellent addition to your fan collection or just to use it to cool you off. The approximate size of this fabulous & wonderful gem is 14-1/2″ high & 6-1/4″ on the base. I package very well for a safe arrival.
