1930 Antique Emerson 12 Fan Model 75046 Brass Blades made only 1 year
So this model with solid brass was only produced for ONE year in 1930! I’ve owned this fan since the early 1980’s. I have installed a bridge rectifier in the base so that it can run on AC current – the bridge rectifier converts AC to DC for the motor. It needs a new power cord. Other than that it runs fine. I polished the brass blades many years ago and coated them with lacquer so they still look good. I did a semi-restoration on the fan way back soon after I got it. It has not been stripped and painted and paint is 95% original, but I did take down the motor and clean and lubricate it. The Emerson medallion on the front is very nice, and also the badge on the motor is in good condition. This model is fairly rare being that it was made only 1 year with the solid brass blades.
