There are 3 ribs on the cage that have separated from the outside ring. Each one of these has a homemade repair with wire. Each one of these speeds is very pronounced. You can hear it kick in or decrease. This fan is very quiet. The knob on the back to control movement back and forth engages perfectly. I have made no attempt to clean this.
