Totally disassembled, cleaned free of grease, bead blasted down to bare metal, new bushings , any blemishes on metal have been repaired. And painted with the very best paint system available. The gun applied finish is the same as weather proof finish used on automobiles. Catalyst activated epoxy primer/sealer, a catalyst activated urethane primer filler, 2 coats of Black color base-coat, and 2 coats of catalyst activated clear-coat. All nuts and bolts have been polished, badge has been painted to original , name tag has been painted to original, all brass has been clear coated except the fan blades. The fan blades have been polished to a mirror shine and balanced, n ew rubber grommets. Replica plug, new wicks, and new antique replica. Felt on bottom base. Finished to a mirror shine. This original, refinished brass tag is the crowing touch to this restoration. This is a very tedious process that makes a restoration complete. Ran for five hours and barely gets warm. Blows lots of air! As you can see, a lot of work and hours have gone into this fan to make it function properly. This is not a cheap restoration. Restoring antiques for many years.
