Rare old General Electric “Whiz” fan. Re-wired with in-line rocker switch to turn on and off. Brass blades with stamped steel housing and a cast iron base. Good condition for age. The windings inside appear to be in excellent condition when I opened the fan up to inspect. I suspect this fan saw limited use. The cage is a bit banged out, and the paint job I gave it admittedly isn’t the best. The green paint is original, and I left it alone as I quite liked the aged look. The brass blade has a couple of dings and a little wrinkle. The fan runs well, but being a shaded pole design, it does run pretty hot. It’s a bit loud as well, although that may be an issue with the blade balance. Regardless it moves a lot of air. Any questions, feel free to ask!
