Antique SIGNAL 17 1930s Art Deco Osculating Electric Fan Model No. 1250A WORKS
Antique SIGNAL 17 1930s Art Deco Osculating Electric Fan Model No. This fan has been tested and it is in good working condition. This thing is SUPER clean too. The previous owner took very good care of it and kept it safe. The plate is very hard to read because it’s so faded but with a magnifying glass I was able to make out it’s model number. I was hoping to find a date on it but had no luck there although I believe it was made in the 1930s. It stands 19″ tall and the fan is 17″ in diameter. The base and the rest of the body is made of heavy cast iron. I believe that all the parts are original including the paint. It works properly and it is actually QUIET! I expected it to sound loud but not at all. It can tilt all the way back aiming straight up if desired and the oscillation works as well. They, meaning US the USA, really knew how to make things back then especially compared to the trash being mass produced today. This fan is a perfect example of the quality of machinery back then. This is a great old fan and you won’t be disappointed. Please view photos for more info and condition and always feel free to ask questions. Thank you for viewing!
