This is a very early Roth Brothers & Co. 1/6 horsepower direct current bipolar motor. It was probably used as a utility or fan motor. One terminal nut is missing, as shown in pics. It is unrestored except for new connection wires and brushes. You can see a video of this motor running on YouTube here. (fan blade shown in video was for demonstration and is not included with motor). The motor itself weighs 36 pounds. It is approximately 8″x7.5″x8.5. It will be double boxed.
