Antique GE GENERAL ELECTRIC Kidney OSCILLATING FAN, 12 brass blade, see VIDEO
Antique GENERAL ELECTRIC 12 KIDNEY OSCILLATING FAN Brass blades, brass guard, 3 speed motor Number 624434, last patent date of 1901. It’s 100+ years old and still going strong. Except for the replaced power cord, fan looks to be original and unrestored. The kidney gearbox ring is half gone. One “ear” from the oscillator control knob has broken off. Each blade has a small bend where it was riveted to the hub (see the last picture). Fan is about 18 tall. There are the typical scratches and chips to the finish but the “OFF 1-2-3″ numbers are still by the switch. The motor will be boxed and padded separately from the blades and guard so you will need to assemble the fan. I don’t want to take any chances for potential damage in transit by having everything together. Don’t forget to leave feedback and then we’ll do the same for you.
