Braun Hl70 Personal Fan Reinhold Weiss & Jurgen Greubel Japan 1970 Read
BRAUN HL70 PERSONAL FAN – REINHOLD WEISS & JURGEN GREUBEL – JAPAN 1970 – READ. Braun produced desk fan designed by Reinhold Weiss and Jurgen Greubel under the directorship of Dieter Rams. This is a fantastic example of what could be called’technological expressionism’. Dieter Rams Vision on design was: “less is better” and he inspired a lot of designs. The fan was introduced to the market in 1970 as a redesign of the legendary HL 1 table fan designed by Reinhold Weiss. It can be used vertically and horizontally and has one switch position. Over the years I have had the pleasure of owning the HL1 and HL70 a few times. All had a half cover plastic guard around blades. This particular unit is very rare in that it has a full plastic cover around fan blades with a round space at the top. I have never seen this and could not find any info on line. Nice unit and working well. 3.5 Diameter top. I believe in WYSIWYG – What you see is what you get. All products are exactly the ones shown in my listings, no stock photos. “Pictures are worth a thousand words”. ALL PACKAGES GO FULLY TRACKED AND INSURED. I treat all in a fair and efficient manner.
