This example, which is 14″ tall, 9″ deep, and 10 wide, is in original condition except for the electrical cord, which seems to have been replaced more recently. The fan is relatively quiet and works great for producing a strong current of refreshing air.
This old fan is in excellent running condition. The wood housing is in really good shape for its age with minor scratches and blemishes. The top of the fan could use a new coat of urethane but looks good even as it is. One bottom corner of the fan box has some delamination of the…

General Electric pedestal fan. Also the gap in the back of the cage is big enough the you can turn the blades counterclockwise. The blades are held by a single set screw. As you can see from the video, the fan is working.
Tested, all speeds work.
