Up for sale is a great old GE brass blade fan. It is in really good cosmetic condition for being over a hundred years old. There is some chips in on the paint/japanning and looks to be some over spay (white specs) on the base and motor. It is only working on 1 speed, the first one to the left of the off position. It also looks like it is missing the top knob of the switch. The cage does need some repair as it is a little bent and has a lose section also it is missing a screw for one of the bracket arms. The motor is Alternating Current Fan Motor with patents from May 13, 90 May 27 90, Aug 13, 95 and June 25 1901. I did a very light cleaning and does have dust and oiling soiling from years of use. Also the blades and brass pieces are tarnished. This will need to be taken apart for a complete detailed cleaning. This is a great fan for the collector but will need some TLC and cleaning.
