Here we have a World War II era table fan from Japan. Need I say more. We were not importing goods from Japan while we were at war with them. Not to mention that like America at a time of war all metal and electrical producers would have been switched over to making war time goods. Making this one of the rarest consumer production fans made. I can not even imagine how this ended up in Cheyenne Wyoming. In the ever popular Mint Green the fan works good. On high it throws air easy 20 feet or better. This one has a 17 cage, oscillates, and tilts to a 45 degree angle. I assume the selector knob is in the wrong position. The speeds are 0-3. However 1 is the fast setting. As well the osculation is struggling. But is is a good working fan as is if you want to keep it as is. The paint is very good with the exception of some missing on the cage. There is zip ties on the cage. All the original metal clips are intact and appear tight so I don’t know the purpose of the ties but I did not mess with them. If you are looking for a retro World War II era industrial steel statement piece for your vintage design application, one that noone else has. This may be the item for you. Weekends and Holidays being an exception. We sell used vintage items that are sometimes way past their useful age.
