It powers and oscillates – the reason it is for parts is because it is missing the bolt on the top which holds the motor in place, so it will flop around. Nice cast iron art deco style design from around the 20s or 30s. Fan blades measure 9.5″ (11.5″ with fan grill). Comes in condition shown, has some age related wear and dust / grime.

The Antique 1925 Polar Cub 10 Type H Electric Oscillating Fan is a vintage collectible piece that works with its original power source, making it a unique addition to any kitchen or home decor. The oscillating function on this fan does not work. I will show detailed photos of the gear section on it. It appears it’s missing the cover for the isolation part also but the fan itself does work great. This fan, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, features three speeds function for customizable airflow. Made in the United States by A. Gilbert’s Polar Cub brand, this fan has a classic design with a 10 diameter and four blades, adding a touch of nostalgia to any space with its antique finish. Everything on this fan seems original to it year decor was repaired at one time and does have electrical tape on it. I did not open it to see how the repair was. I will show in photos.

The fan does work, but it has issues! A great old find!! Note: we will sell parts of this old fan for a reasonable offer. More neat stuff in our. Size and Makeup : About 19″ tall, and the diameter of the cage is 17″. Blades are 16 in diameter. Made of metal, etc. Condition : The fan does work! A piece of metal is missing from the back section (please see our photos). The base is missing screws. Part of the switch looks to be missing. Cord looks to have been replaced.
