This a nice GE 9 Stationary single speed fan fully restored Polished brass blades and trim New wiring (head wire and power cord) w/ modern cloth covered wire and vintage style acorn plug sator check out and coated with epoxy All brass polished Fan painted with gloss black epoxy and cage painted with black satin Off and on switch was cleaned and checked out. Base has new felt (black) w/1/16 rubber under it. Bearings cleaned and new oil wick installed Oil cups filled with fresh Zoom Oil Runs cool and strong. This is an original Patent Dated 1895 & 1901 Hunter Oscillating Fan. The fan is cast iron with a a brass cage and brass blades. The fan is all original and in WORKING condition (I would recommend replacing the original cord). The brass cage has a couple of wire breaks, but overall a great early authentic fan that you don’t see too often. The height of the fan measures 16″ tall, and the blades and cage is approx 12″ wide. This is the 9″ version with brass blades (fan blades are 9″ across, the cage measures approx 9.5-10). Everything is in completely original, unrestored condition. Even the cord and felt bottom are perfectly intact! Minor blemishes to paint as expected in a fan this age, but is for the most part still very glossy and vivid. The only thing missing is one small rubber grommet at the base of the fan where the cord exits (pictured), the other rubber grommet is still there though and not even cracking! It is very rare to find a fan in this nice of original condition. Keep in mind this fan is over 90 years old! It still runs beautifully and is dead silent when running.
