Material: Cast Iron / Steel. Authentic Antique Wagner Electric Desk Fan – Model L53A68. Up for sale is a beautiful piece of American industrial history. This vintage Wagner Electric Corp. Louis, MO is a great find for collectors or anyone looking for a unique industrial decor piece. All Original Parts: Includes the original cage, blades, and cast-iron base. Aesthetic: Wonderful aged patina. No major dents or missing cage wires. Identification: The original brass nameplate is intact and clearly readable (Model L53A68). Untested: Due to the age and the frayed condition of the original cloth cord, I have NOT plugged this fan in for safety reasons. Body: There is some surface wear and dust consistent with its age (please see photos). The blades rotate freely by hand. Oscillation: The oscillation knob and gears appear to be intact. This fan is heavy (cast iron). It will be double-boxed and packed with extreme care to ensure it arrives safely. Don’t miss out on this classic piece of early 20th-century engineering!

Beautiful 1920 Occilating fan. Has a newer Cord/plug on it. Blows alot of air low noise smooth motor and Occilating Works great. They dont make em like this anymore!

Please note the fan is working and running when pressing the switch. It does not appear to oscillate. It looks like a piece is missing. Has signs of wear and is in need of restoration. The cable is a bit damaged. The bottom has rust. The switch to turn it on and off is on the bottom shown in the last photo, it is a bit tricky to find.

Own a piece of history with this beautiful antique Wagner fan. This original item from the 1920s – 1940s is made of cast and comes with four brass blades with a wavy wire cage for optimal air circulation. The Wagner 9260 fan is an oscillating version of the 9160. Upon plugging it in, the blade was slow to move. I gave the blades a couple of bumps to get them going, and it began blowing good air. I could not get it to Oscillate. With a good cleaning and oiling, I believe this would be a nice working show piece. The vintage black finish adds to the charm of this original piece, making it a great addition to any collector’s home. The fan stands at 13 inches tall and has a switch for easy control.
