This is an original small Verity Limit fan manufactured around the late 1950s. It’s in good working order – it spins freely and runs well in both gears. I haven’t been able to get it to oscillate, but I’d imagine it should do with a bit of a clean and grease on the mechanism. The blades have polished up well, although they do have various dents, kinks and imperfections. It has its original paintwork, which has clearly started to show its age. The metal cage has a break at the bottom, but still holds onto the brackets tightly. All in all, it’s a very attractive piece that shows its age and history. As with all vintage electrical items, I’d recommend getting it checked by an electrician if you’re intending on using it as a practical fan. Please message me with any questions. Verity Orbit 16 Antique Electric Fan Brass Blades 20s, working condition rotate 360° and the three speed works fine for his age. Needs repaint, missing one brass clip from cage. I’m not sure if missing something else. The wires it’s too old so it maybe need to replace the old ones. From house clearance, as it seen. I can send video.
