Bring home a piece of American industrial history with this vintage Emerson Electric fan, manufactured in St. Emerson was one of the top fan makers of the 20th century, known for heavy-duty motors, metal construction, and long-lasting reliability. These models were commonly used in workshops, factories, and garages – built to run for decades. This fan still works and currently operates using a brand-new modern power cord with an in-line ON/OFF switch. The original variable-speed inline switch was no longer functional, but I’m including the original cord and switch assembly (spliced) for anyone who wants to attempt a period-correct restoration. Fan powers on and runs smoothly (single speed only now). Includes new cord already installed. Includes the original vintage cord with multi-speed switch (non-functional, for parts/restoration). No original stand – the fan has a mounting point suitable for hanging. Original Emerson Electric badge intact on both front and rear. Normal wear for age: surface rust, patina, scuffs, and fading consistent with a mid-century industrial piece. Emerson Electric metal fan (functional). Newly installed modern power cord with ON/OFF switch. Original cord + inline multi-speed switch (non-working, for restoration). Clicks through positions, OEM for some antique ceiling fans, cover is very slightly loose. Untested, old paint over nickel plated finish Perkins brand, Perkins brand on knob. Can’t read the specs. But typically 2A 250 V – 5A 125 V. 2.5″ across base, oblong holes for mounting at about 1.75″ center to center with yard stick. A rare Perkins switch in excellent condition as seen. Sure it’s used for the gyro and I would guess others. No cracks as seen and exc inner condition. Pulls and clicks good as intended. Any questions just ask.
