Folks this antique Emerson Electric Mfg Company Model 45641 Ceiling Fan has been in my garage for many years, over 40, and I have never done the restoration so it is time to let someone else restore this gem. 1st thing is this fan is ridiculously heavy weighing in at 65 lbs. I have a hard time moving it around. I attached a cord for testing only and is not to be used to operate this fan. The 3-Speed control on bottom works in all 3 speeds plus clicks to next speed just fine. While operating this fan is quiet as a mouse. When I unplugged it she coasted for awhile showing the bearing condition. There are nicks and scratches as seen in pictures plus the ornamental brass piece on top has a dent, I don’t think the brass piece is original for it is just to shiny. Under description is stated for parts or repair so we are both on the same page. I must list that way for this fan is almost 100 years old and being a real antique I would not put into continuous service until a restoration is completed. Any questions please ask. This is a very nice 1920’s vintage General Electric 9 non – oscillating electric WHIZ fan. I has brass blades. It runs very nicely. It’s in beautiful condition and has dark green paint. It is really clean with minor paint wear. It may have been restored at some point , I’m not sure. It runs very smooth.
