Beautiful vintage Roto-Beam Model 116 electric fan in very well-kept condition. This is a desirable 3-speed version with the original cord still intact – something collectors look for. The fan operates properly on all three speeds and has been well preserved with. Clean cage and housing. Original finish and components. Excellent vintage condition for its age. Fan runs smoothly on all 3 speeds and retains the original cord. Very clean example with no rust noted on cage, base, or blades. Motor sounds strong and the fan presents beautifully for display or use. Normal age-related wear only. Please review all photos and video for exact cosmetic condition. These older Roto-Beam fans are known for their unique industrial styling and strong airflow. Man cave or office display. Mid-century and early electric appliance collectors. Proudly operated by the Department of Unnecessary Acquisitions. It started innocently enough. A few good finds. A great deal here. An estate sale there. And now I apparently own a mercantile. There is a steamer that gets more use than most household appliances. But here we are. Most of the finds here come from auctions, estate sales, thrift stores and other places where perfectly good things are sitting around waiting for somebody to appreciate them again. Some things are newer. Some are expensive brands. Some are brands nobody has thought about since 1997 and suddenly everyone wants again. Those are usually my favorites. Here is a beautiful vintage Roto-Beam 3-Speed fan. To See it working. The cage is about 18″ in diameter with the fan standing roughly 31″ and 11 deep. I believe this may have been mounted on the wall in a cafe or diner back in the day, and when I received it I made a nice heavy-duty wood base for it. This is a very hard fan to find in this condition and working. Because grading is subjective to each individual, it is important that you review all pictures closely. For your thoughtful consideration one Vintage Roto-Beam Model 116 Air Circulator Floor Fan Wire Cage 2-Speed Heavy. Approximately 20″ (Width) x 23″ (Height). Plug was replaced and fan does work. The pull chain is difficult to pull, but does work “toggling” between on/off and 2 different speeds. The cord is nimble (not brittle) but does show wear including electrical tape in places and will likely need replacement. The cage is in pretty good shape, but there is a light rust throughout, and a couple minor defects. The fan would also benefit from a good cleaning.
