An early 1900`s GE 16-inch solid brass drop ring electric fan guard in excellent salvaged condition. Included are three solid brass struts (one with a broken tip – please see the photos), three original brass clips and screws. The deep curve in the two side struts would likely indicate the guard and struts came from a GE Kidney fan or large early oscillator. The guard is clean and unlacquered. The front to back ring wires could be slightly repositioned if desired. Overall, a good solid guard. The rear ring measures approximately17 in. The front ring about 15 in. The front to back width is 4 in.

GE 9 Oscillating Fan With brass blades and custom steel oscillating ring to replace broken pot metal one. Runs strong New wiring, head wire replaced all the way to the stator w/cloth covered wire. Gear box clean out checked and new grease installed. New paint (glossy black epoxy on the fan matt black on the cage) new felt on base w/ 1/16 rubber under the felt new oilier wicks. Pivot bolt brass clad with USA stamp all brass polished Lacquered all brass except the blade (Blade was professionally balanced and polished) Wall mount holes have metal plugs in them that can be removed(just pop out) New power cord W/ cloth covered and new Bakelite style plug. Runs like it should Lots of Shine!
