This listing is for an antique General Electric Pancake Fan from 1903. This fan works on 2 of 5 speeds. The other 3 speeds stall the motor. It has newer quality paint and the brass looks great. This is a beautifully restored Robbins & Myers 12 desk fan, Model 1155 List No. A true piece of vintage industrial design, this fan combines functionality with classic Art Deco styling. Details from the tag. List No: 1304X. Cycles: 60 AC. Original Robbins & Myers brass badge on cage. 12 four-blade fan with distinctive red wire guard. Sturdy cast base with red felt bottom. New cloth-covered cord and plug for safety. Recently restored – runs smoothly on all speeds. Fan has been restored and repainted in cream with red accents. Minor paint loss is present on the cage, base, and back (see photos for close-ups). Overall very clean and display-ready. This is an excellent piece for collectors of vintage fans, mid-century décor, or anyone looking for a functional piece of industrial Americana. This is a heavy, solidly built fan. With a glossy green finish, this circular fan features a single speed control style switch. Made of brass, this table/desk fan is an original piece from the General Electric brand. Perfect for any room in your home, this antique electric fan is a unique addition to your decor, blending vintage charm with functional design. The fan has been completely restored. It was tore down to all its basic components. The motor was taken apart reshimmed, the shafts and bushings, repolished and lubricated. The oil caps have been filled with new oil and new wicks. All the nuts and bolts have been repolished, including the blade and cage. A new power cord and switch was added. The paint’s been touched up. And finally, a clear coat of varnish applied. New rubber feet on the base also. The fans good to go another hundred years. Just keep her oiled. Many hours of labor we’re taken to get this fan to this beautiful condition.

This antique Robbins and Myers table fan runs on 3 speeds and oscillates. The fan is in great shape and still has the original paint with minimal paint chips. The paint even still has some of the original pin stripping showing. The blades are in balance and are in great shape as well as the cage. The wiring was replaced going into the motor with vintage style wire. The cord has also been replaced since the original was bad. The fan is missing the original oscillator screw but still oscillates since someone put a bolt in its place. I put bubble wrap or paper bags inside the cage to help prevent any damage to the blade. The motors are also covered in cardboard and bubble wrap to help cushion the motor. The fan will have about 2-3 on each side of packing material.

This Circa 1907 Restored 12 GE Pancake has been beautifully restored. The restoration was done very well and displays beautifully. The cast iron was restored in a goregous rich black finish. The original patina on the brass blades and cage has been preserved and compliments the shiney black finish very nicely. There are a few minor imperfections in the finish on the top of the rear motor cover that appear to be touched up chips and around both power terminals on the rear cover is a small area of rough textured finish. Fan has new period correct head wire and power cord. We installed a new 5 speed switch with pointer and knob. Fan runs excellent on all 5 speeds. This fan is perfect the addition to a GE pancake fan collection or beautiful decorative accent piece with function.
